Karl Fink, Care Ministry, received his Director of Christian Education certification and teaching degree from Concordia Teacher's College, Seward, Nebraska in 1983.  He has served four Lutheran congregations and schools in the Southern California area since then.  Karl returned to Bethany (his home congregation as a child) in 1996 as a teacher in the Junior High.  In July of 2000, he took the Call to be DCE, and has served in that capacity ever since.  Karl's wife Mary is the current Principal of Bethany Lutheran School, and together they have two sons who attended Bethany from Preschool through 8^th grade.  Karl loves sports of all kinds and truly relishes the time that he gets to spend with his family.  The words of King David in Karl's confirmation verse speak most clearly to him, "The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want."-Psalm 23:1
